Brodie Karres

  • Year that you graduated EDS:  2015

  • Where are you in school or work now?  Attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida a boarding school which offers an integrated academic and athletic college preparatory experience across eight sports.

  • What do you miss about EDS?  Dr. Jill, Mrs. Crickmore and all the staff. The small community and knowing everybody at the school. I loved the learning environment and special attention each and every student received.

  • Share some of your successes / accomplishments since EDS? Voted Class President my Freshmen and Sophomore years at Pinecrest High School, Member of the National Honor Society, recruited to play football at IMG Academy, Member of the Pinecrest High School Football during the historical appearance in the State Semi-Finals, spent 3 summers in Wyoming at Teton Valley Ranch Camp (leadership/survival camp) 

  • Share organizations or clubs in which you have membership or support? National Honor Society, IMG Academy Varsity Football Team

  • Share any advice that you have for current students or families at EDS. Don’t be afraid to take risks or make a change. There is always the possibility that you could fail, but that should never ever stop you!
